It’s Pride Month and Washington DC’s Love Mural in Blagden Alley has become a symbol for so many things from love to freedom to diversity. Please join The RARE x Lisa Marie Thalhammer, the Artist who has created several incredible pieces throughout the city including the Love Mural, for a guided tour of Blagden Alley’s art on Thursday, June 24th from 7pm - 9pm. For those who are interested, we’ll gather for drinks at Calico afterwards from 9pm - 10:00pm.

LISA MARIE THALHAMMER is known for her striking and powerful paintings, collages and public artworks that use portraiture, symbolism, color and shape to explore interconnectivity, raise consciousness and communicate uplifting messages. A longtime community activist, Thalhammer’s work frequently represents women in positions of power and hope. She exhibits fine artwork and paints large-scale public art murals in Washington, D.C., where she lives and works, in addition to other locations nationally and internationally.
