Meet Alison

Alison is a 20+ year resident of the DC area. She’s intimately connected to DC’s hospitality, nightlife, arts, and culture scenes, and loves street art as much as she loves the Phillips Collection. A long-time supporter of various arts and music festivals, she’s devoted her time and energy to working both Burning Man and DC's Funk Parade.

Alison is a regular puppy foster and helps find adoptive parents for rescue puppies with K9 Lifesavers. At last count, she had fostered over 40 pups. (And no, it never gets any easier to say goodbye each time.)

More fun facts: she played D1 softball, was once the lead singer of a (modest local) band, is a massive scuba diving enthusiast, and has traveled to over 30 countries.

Things Alison believes: No question is too stupid. Life is rarely, if ever, linear. Sometimes the illogical thing is the very thing your heart needs... and that's totally ok.
